Please check and bring along the following documents (both the original and a photocopy) and the application fee, together with the completed application form, for the processing of application at the Workers Registration Offices:

  1. Hong Kong Identity Card (If you are not a Hong Kong Permanent Resident, you are required to present in addition to your Hong Kong Identity Card (if any), your One Way Exit Permit or passport/travel document or other approving documents showing a valid employment visa relevant to the trade(s) for which an application is made.)

  2. A valid Green Card* (with a remaining validity of minimum 30 days at the date of application.)

  3. Qualification certificates relevant to the trade(s) for which an application is made * (If you are applying for provisional registration, please refer to "Application for Provisional Registration".)

  4. Application fee (please refer to "Application Fees".)

Applicants who have already submitted their application forms and copies of the above-mentioned documents through Group Submission are required to present only the originals of the said documents and the application fees at the interview.

* Holders of Green Card / trade test certificate(s) issued by the Construction Industry Council Training Academy or Construction Industry Training Authority are not required to present the originals and copies as the relevant qualifications can be verified through the computer system.

Attention!
1. If information submitted for registration of any trade is incomplete, the application for registration for that trade will not be considered.
2. The Workers Registration Office will request the qualification issuing authorities concerned to verify the information provided by applicants. Should the relevant authorities fail to provide the verification results within seven business days after receipt of the application, the applicants will be informed of the possible delay in processing their applications.
