Proof of Working Experience: If you are applying for provisional registration of a trade, you have to fill in and submit the "Working Experience Certification Form for Application for Registration as Registered Skilled / Semi-skilled Workers (Provisional)" (Form PR1) to prove your personal working experience in that trade. How to become a Registered Skilled Worker / Registered Semi-skilled Worker after provisional registration:

• A Registered Skilled Worker (Provisional) is required to complete a specified training course or pass a relevant trade test within 3 years after registration before he/she is eligible to apply for registration as a Registered Skilled Worker for the trade concerned.
• A Registered Semi-skilled Worker (Provisional) is required to pass a relevant intermediate trade test within 3 years after registration before he/she is eligible to apply for registration as a Registered Semi-skilled Worker for the trade concerned.

Specified Training Courses

A Registered Skilled Worker (Provisional) may apply for registration as a Registered Skilled Worker of a particular trade after completing a specified training course and its assessment.

The specified training courses for respective trades cover:

• Theory
• Answering short questions (in multiple choice)(It may be conducted orally for illiterate workers where necessary.)
• Demonstration on practice
• Assessment on practice
