Procedures and Fees for replacement of lost and damaged registration card

If a worker lost his/her Workers Registration Card, he/she must first go to police station to report the loss of the “Construction Workers Registration Card”, and then bring along lost property report and a replacement administration fee of HK $100 to any Workers Registration Office for replacement of their registration cards.

If a worker found that his/her card has been lost upon renewal of registration, he/she can still apply for renewal and then apply for replacement of registration card when he/she collect his/her new card. Simply bring along the lost property report issued by the police and a replacement administration fee of HK$100 to apply for a replacement and then collect the new card.

For damaged Workers Registration Card, workers can bring the damaged card to any Workers Registration Office. Our staff will check the card, if necessary, will replace the registration card. Please note that workers may need to pay an administration fee for replacement of their registration cards.
